@BoBlackstone@surfranchvibes Drove like our old 3rd gen 4runner and the drivetrain made clunking noises which we found out was because the rear wheels disconnect for some reason. Software seemed a little behind. It was a nice vehicle but didnโt seem special enough to drop that kind of money on.
Standard usually does okay for me on highways, sometimes I have to help it by pressing the accelerator. It's terrible on 2 lane roads and goes under the speedlimit...mad max barely does the speed limit on 2 lane roads for me. mad max is way to fast on highways. Hurry is hit or miss on highways.
Point is that I have to change the speed settings constantly depending on what kind of road I'm on. Before I could just set to hurry everywhere and set my max speed.
MYP, I got the off-roading bug out of my system throughout my 20s with a lifted 2001 4runner that i beat the absolute shit out of. Not much interest now and even less interest in beating the shit out of a $50k+ vehicle off road. I donโt see any ither advantages over a Model Y other than off road capability, butni certainly see some downsides.
@kedlinco@cjbarchet@Tesla This has never happened to me. I always approve the estimate knowing that they will get zero'd out under warranty. A few times I have had to ask them to remove the charge because they forget but they have always done it without issue.
This has always been my experience over the last 7 years...they put estimates when generating the ticket but then zero them all out once they are repaired under warranty. I've never had to pay out of pocket for anything fixed under warranty. Only thing I've ever paid for was a new 12v battery and a cabin air filter.
@World0fEcho@itsumo_douri I had the OG one without the CD player and it sounded alright. Check out shopgoodwill . com...I see the model pictured above selling on there all the time for cheap.
