Since I seem to be getting more (largely, but not entirely, unpaid) work as a voice actor, I've made a dedicated Twitter account for that kinda thing: @JK__VA.
I'll probably tweet from it about as often as I do here, i.e. barely at all.
@danidonovan My phone closed all the tabs except a handful from several months ago.
I am lost.
On the upside, it's reminded me of some really interesting things that I said I'd look into and promptly forgot about.
@michaelgove Please learn the correct terms for the various forms of abbreviation before going on to criticise other people's grammatical flaws, Mr Gove. "NBER" is not an acronym.
@send2gl@Number10cat There isn't a rise in autism.
There IS a rise in the *diagnosis* of autism and a broadening of the definition.
I've been the same slightly weird person all 50+ years of my life, but medics have only just worked out "Oh. Actually that's autism isn't it".

Happy New Year!
Instead of resolving to do something horrible, like running or eating fewer sweets, why don't you resolve to do something really fun like joining a choir? Like our choir?

Thanks to this morning's @BBCMoreOrLess, households all across the country have a new euphemism: "I just need to go and create a new UNESCO World Heritage site."
For those looking for somewhat simplified breakdowns of sensory processing disorder, autism, ADHD, and generalized anxiety disorder, I created resources that should give you some insight...
Due to ongoing dental surgery, I've had temp dentures since Feb. This means I've basically had to relearn how to speak, and still have trouble with certain words. Especially ones with "st" in them. Like "hostages", which comes out as "hossages"
@Keir_Starmer, you have my sympathy
Make critical thinking a foundational subject in education. Teach students how to think critically, analyze information, and discern fact from fiction using scientific methods, creating a more discerning and informed society.
@danidonovan "I use to" is not correct grammar in the first place. It gets written that way because, when spoken, the D gets merged into the T so people think that the phrase is "I use to". "Use" needs that D like similar words: like(d), hate(d) etc.
"I didn't used to"
@SAGEOppBlocker@libera1_gamer@starrchildx "Before" is a temporal concept, ie it needs time to exist in order for it to make sense.
There cannot be a "before time" because that itself would be a time, and time didn't exist.
This has been so much fun to do!
I'd say that I hope to hear from The Dysfunctional Five again, but I'm not sure poor Control's nerves could handle it 😂
