Im finding this #FIAPrizeGiving2021 a bit odd. Well done to the drivers. But it feels like a little cult, "we done all this and everything is perfect". Oh and now we have to praise john todt? Think iv had enough for the night.

Some of the highest viewing figures #F1 has seen for a while was on Sunday. Cause it was on @C4F1? (Well done to C4 for that by the way) Worth thinking about then, as @SkySportsF1 have it locked behind their pay wall.

Max drove well this year, no denying that. Its a shame the 2021 championship will always be "the one where the FIA won it for him". However, I have no doubt red bull would be objecting and going to court if it was the other way round. #F1 is severely bruised in my opinion.

I understand #Mercedes not doing it, what they have said is true. But the FIA have now set a precedent, they can do what they like. The tweet below is 100% correct.

@RobCain101 Agreed and a good point. I would like to see a statement from the FIA or something like that. I thoroughly enjoy watching all forms of motorsport but not that interested in a manufactured show.

@RICCx1 Yes I see that now seems to be the case Ric. I think its bigger than the championship though, this "messing around" by Masi/FIA needs sorted. Maybe that needs to be done in a court room, im not sure.

Its awful that this will be decided in a court room (probably)but im with #MercedesAMGF1 on this. Rules should not be messed around with on the will of one person. For Masi to do something which has never been done in this sport before is not right. It becomes a show, not a sport

Its looking like Toto Wolff has decided against it. Well, they will live to fight another day. #F1 was certainly bruised yesterday. I will be watching next year aslong the rules are clear and it remains a sport 1st and foremost, not a show.

2/2 If we decide that creating fights out of thin air (which it was, cause Lewis was a long way ahead) is acceptable, it should of been a red flag. Mr Masi has a very tough job, but he should of known that.

@tiff_tv Max will never been seen as a proper winner by many many people and obviously neither will Lewis. No good will come from it, but the rules need to be clear for all and if that has to be done in a court room, its sad but so be it.

Fair enough, it doesn't solve the problem of yesterday. But in theory that should be straight forward, follow what the rule books says.

What about isolating stewards from the actual race, if there is an incident show them but use some clever computer to make all the car bodywork grey. Then they make a decision. Bit out there I know, but it would be an unbiased decision. #F1 #Formula1 #FIA 🤔🤷‍♂️
