@s_wulch@drgurner@VibesPatrol Does that make the period of struggle beautiful or does that make the period after overcoming the struggle beautiful? If I draw from my own experience, how I changed as a person from overcoming periods of struggle are beautiful, the actual struggle not so much.
@SprinterPress They talk about building resilience yet we’re holding court cases because people’s feelings are getting hurt by what other people say on Twitter. Make it make sense 😂
@LiamBadco People are so soft. He was convicted for “grossly offensive electronic communications with intent to cause distress or anxiety”. So we’re having court cases because he hurt someone’s feelings on Twitter? 😂
@merrittblack If we’re talking career ending vs just account blowing, I would allocate 1% per narrative idea, 2R DLL, so 50 DLL’s. If we’re talking account blowing without it being career ending, I’d bump the risk allocation to 2-3% per narrative idea.
@JaredDHardin@AlexHormozi I use nicotine for specific types of work (mainly excel related stuff). I find it highly addictive for that work in that I crave it when I don’t use it and am working in Excel. Outside of that work though, I don’t get cravings ever. Only issue is gut health for me
@Crowded_Mkt_Rpt I don’t like traditional TA but love market profile and VWAP with standard deviation bands using the same principles as MP but across the week, month, quarter, and year
@baynkr Maintaining a consistent balance between patience and aggression. I often find I can lean towards being a little too patient or a little too aggressive
Water pressure is a personal issue for Trump, who has long complained low-flow shower heads merely drip water, making it hard for him to wash his hair, & toilets that he has said force people to flush “10 times, 15 times as opposed to once.”
How is this real 🤣🤣🤣
Every day I approach the market with a mindset of not wanting to trade but simply seeing if there’s something so obvious, I can’t pass on it.
This helps keep me out of sub optimal plays.
Or as my mother always succinctly says: “Don’t go food shopping when you’re hungry”
@Tuia_xyz@merrittblack@apterostrading Helped me to dial in a process that suits my personality and style (within the NADRO framework). Just having Merritt review your trades is huge though. The focus on process>outcome is awesome.
@Tuia_xyz@merrittblack@apterostrading I'm likely a little biased but going through mentorship with Merritt made a huge difference for my trading. If NADRO is a road you want to go down, would highly recommend it
@merrittblack 2/2 Anticipating the regret seems to keep me centred and on track. Also journal any notes of potential process adjustments or things I want to study further.
@merrittblack 1/2 My journaling is mainly focused on the emotional side. What I’m feeling and why, even just writing it down helps. I also like to journal about how a decision in the market will make me feel later on when I’m doing my review, find that keeps me out of a lot of bad trades.
