@mwertlieb is such a gem. He makes our world brighter. I’m so glad we will still get to hear his voice through the Frequency podcast. The farewell show was great. I’m hoping we still get a sports report. 🤞🏻
After 20 years, today is @mwertlieb's last day as local Morning Edition host. He had one last goodbye message for his listeners. Full version: https://t.co/0zZTwuzDR6

More to come! We are responding to what people tell us they need, so keep the questions coming. #vtflood23
Here’s the scene in downtown Montpelier, VT this evening. Vermont’s capital city is in for a long night – the Winooski River is forecast to reach major flood stage, rivaling levels seen during Irene in 2011.

@walkyourcamera I remember when a national magazine gave a “save the Appalachian children Christmas giveaway” and the national news pronounced it as you would Rubicon…”er-ba-kahn.” Nope. Er’bacon like it is a question…”sausage er bacon?”
As a mom and leader of an office of working parents, I urge the Legislature to override the childcare bill veto. Affordability is a valid concern, but Vermonters can’t “afford” the broken system we have now, making childcare inaccessible and fueling the worker shortage. 1/4
I am living with a terminal disease. I am also a patient advocate.
I am a damn good advocate, but I need your help. The more followers I have, the more I can get government and pharma to pay attention.
So my ask is: Will you follow me so we can change the world?

@JaneLindholm Boots and then when they get to school they switch to Crocs and leave the boots behind?? I remember being so embarrassed when we moved to VT and had really crummy socks. Everyone sees your socks in VT. #DarnToughSocksForLife
Growing up in WV we didn’t trick or treat on Halloween. 31st was reserved for the tricksters and mischief makers. It was a night when railroad crossings were blocked, jack-rocks were thrown on the road, and houses were egged. Candy was another night.
NEW: West Virginia is sending $86 million back to the feds that could have been used to help renters and landlords hurt by the COVID pandemic.
