降水コアが落下する瞬間。このあと、アーク雲が出来てレーダーでもガストフロントが確認できた。
自分がレーダー画像から想像していた雹の落下プロセスと違うように見える。現象を直接観察することの重要性を再認識。

おどろおどろしい乳房雲
降水粒子が雲底下の乾燥空気に触れ昇華。潜熱冷却で負の浮力を獲得して沈降した際、その直下の中立な層にトラップされて表面が滑らかになる。雲底下が乾燥したかなとこ雲の下で良く発生する。

カンザス東部のMCSは落雷多めでした。上昇流のコアから離れた場所にも頻繁に落雷していたので、極性が気になるところ。

正渦場ではあるが、いまいち渦度が収束する条件が足りてない印象。ダウンバースト由来と思しき突風は凄まじかった（車がバインバイン揺れた）が、竜巻渦は今回も見られず…
