Three years ago we experienced a devastating house fire. The blaze was too ferocious to ascertain a cause but it was probably an electrical fault.
Please remember to check your smoke alarms regularly, plan your escape route and bin anything electrical that is not perfect.
We are looking for someone to sponsor some football kits for both our boys and girls' teams.
If this is something you could help us out with, please contact our Curriculum Lead for PE and Sport by emailing [email protected]
Sometimes being a one woman creative business isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Today has been one of those days where I haven’t sold anything in my online shop.
Have a look at my shop and please repost to spread the word. Thanks.

Thank you Mike Wozniak for an absolutely smashing evening at @StamfordCET with some sleuthing, puzzling, investigating and ultimately laughing very, very much. 😂👍👏🙌
Merry solstice from my 300 year old wee Willie winkie lamp with very small chimney & these tiny scented narcissi-the first of the year. Now the light will begin to return…
It's been a long and difficult term for many.
In these last few days at school, look after yourself and each other.
Pace yourself, if you're faltering.
Bite your tongue, if you need to.
Shut out the noise, if you can.
Look for joy every day.
Know that you make a difference.
I’ll be listing several pieces of jewellery I’ve made using tiny sterling Victorian, Edwardian & a few Georgian charms, stamp holders, lockets & chatelaine components I’ve been collecting over the last 10 years in my etsy shop on Sunday evening at 8 UK time. Each will be a one-off piece. Immediate dispatch in time for 🌲 (incl to the U.S.-tariffs sorted at source). Zoom in for beautiful details eg bottom right-Victorian charm engraved with a long-tailed tit 🪶🗝️👇🏼🌲
I make each of my flower necklaces by casting real flowers in recycled silver:
snowdrop, bluebell, lily of the valley, wild carrot, forget me not seedheads, tiny heather wreaths.
I also hand-sculpt much-loved bird species to make tiny wearable versions: wren, blackbird, swift.
20% off my jewellery just now with code TINYOWL20. Cut off day for🌲orders is Tue 25 Nov:

Hello!
It doesn’t cost anything to retweet but it helps me spread the word about my small business.
My online shop is full of bold & colourful prints, homewares and cards.
I’m also available for freelance design work and art licensing.

I know I've asked this a few times recently but I've been very unwell for much of this year & am trying to get back on my feet again financially by teaching my workshops again alongside running my Etsy shop.
Please could you give my tweets above/below about my workshop a RT if you have a moment (or even join the class if you fancy learning about how collecting alters our brain wiring and thoughts for the better-I'd love to teach you).
Thankyou so much for your continued support and encouragement here x🌿
I just rang someone who created the nature reserve I’m walking in as I type to tell him that 2 endangered butterflies (the wall brown, this guy👇🏼) just had full-on flappy sexy times in front of me & so he’s made a home for beleaguered (but randy) lepidopterans. Small sexy very good news 👀✔️👉🏼👌🏼
For much of this year my depression has burgled all motivation, joy & even the creative parts of myself. I’m trying a new way of thinking-that I have inherent value even if I’m too unwell to earn/work much. I’ve made this photo to show I’m still here, even if I’m in tiny bits: old marbles, Roman beads, a tiny 17th C fox mount, 1930s toy flowers, a medieval casket key. Making this helped my brain, looking at the details might help yours…
Theodora Noyes (1864-1960)
Almost forgotten English painter
I can’t find much by her at all
Wiltshire was her home and she was the last one of 12 children. Dad was a solicitor.
loved the movement in this one and hope I can find more work to post so she doesn’t get forgotten
If like me you were amazed by the Landscape art embroideries etc by Alison Holt just look at this one.
Stunning piece. I feel overwhelmed by her talent.
This evening at 8 UK time I'll be opening my Etsy shop for limited ed’n signed art prints of my botanical/nature collection photographs & frameable greetings cards.
I create my photos using recent research to dial down fight or flight & lift your mood when you look at them.
