OK, Karen Paul and Karen Reeves. You guys are missing the point. Nobody has a problem with the HOA rules and yes, they all knew what they signed up for. The problem is is well you can read up on the rules and be well aware of them. You never know about the people that are in charge of enforcing them before you get to sign on. I have heard so many nightmare stories, and I assure you that had these people known about the kinds of people who would be in charge of enforcing the HOA rules they would've never signed that paper. And by the way, Reeves I see that you joined in May 2026… What was that last month? Maybe you should just observe for a little while.

Whatever Karen! HOA's have gotten completely out of control, especially the presidents of those organizations feel especially courageous and invasive as the position gives them the feeling of being in charge like a policeman or a sheriff. To the point where they feel that they can complain to you about every tiny little thing and impose fines, because apparently they don't make enough from the actual fees, which are already too high as it is.

This guy turned every single text his HOA president sent him into a song.

Over the past year and a half, she’s been texting him nonstop about fines, videos he’s posting, eggs in the yard, signs on his lawn, his driveway, and even threatening to put a lien on his house. So instead of arguing with her, he had AI turn all her messages into a full song.

It’s honestly one of the most creative ways I’ve seen someone get back at an over-the-top HOA.
