વ્યારા વન વિભાગના તાપી રેન્જના રેન્જ ફોરેસ્ટ ઓફિસર સ્વ. શ્રી વિકાસ દેસાઇને બાતમીના આધારે જાણ થઈ હતી કે ગુજરાતમાંથી મહારાષ્ટ્ર તરફ ખેરના લાકડાનું ગેરકાયદેસર પરિવહન થઈ રહ્યું છે. આ ગેરકાયદેસર પ્રવૃત્તિને રોકવાના પ્રયાસરૂપે તેમણે વાહનનો પીછો કરીને તેને અટકાવ્યું હતું. પરંતુ ફરજ બજાવતા દરમિયાન તેમણે વન વિભાગ માટે પોતાનું સર્વોચ્ચ બલિદાન આપીને વીરગતિ પ્રાપ્ત કરી.

An euphoric moment! A moment when I actually felt my husband Dharam ji’s warm presence, holding my hand and guiding me to the dais where his Padma Vibhushan award awaited him❤️
Yday at the serene Padma award function, as Her Excellency the President personally handed out the prestigious awards to the deserving achievers, I sat representing Dharam ji and felt an immense pride rise within me. Memories of the years spent with him, first as a co star in so many hit movies and later as his life partner. Tears welled up as these thoughts were stirred within me. He had been a loving and caring husband, an affectionate father and a grand father, well meaning friend, true philosopher, trusted guide. Dharam ji exemplified all these noble qualities and much more. He was a generous, giving, good human being recognised and loved by all who knew him.
I accepted the award with all humility on behalf of our entire family , millions of his fans and well-wishers.
I thank the Almighty for having given me a wonderful soul mate, memories of whom I will cherish till the end of my life.

૮ મે થી ૨૩ મે દરમિયાન આયોજિત આ વર્ગમાં ૮ જિલ્લાના ૧૩૭ શિક્ષાર્થીઓએ પ્રશિક્ષણ લીધું હતું.

• શારીરિક અને બૌદ્ધિક પ્રદર્શન

સંઘ શિક્ષા વર્ગ દરમિયાન શિક્ષાર્થીઓએ પોતાના દૈનિક જીવનમાં:

* શિસ્ત અને સમયપાલન
* સ્વદેશી અને દેશભક્તિ
* સેવાભાવ જેવા વ્યવહારિક વિષયો
તેમજ શારીરિક અને બૌદ્ધિક કાર્યક્રમો થકી પ્રશિક્ષણ મેળવ્યું. સમાપન કાર્યક્રમમાં શિક્ષાર્થીઓએ વાદ્યોના તાલે લયબદ્ધ રીતે દંડ, દંડયુદ્ધ, યોગાસન અને સમતા નિયુદ્ધના પ્રયોગોનું ઉત્સાહભેર પ્રદર્શન કર્યું હતું.

• મુખ્ય વક્તાનું ઉદ્બોધન

આ પ્રસંગે મુખ્ય વક્તા તરીકે ઉપસ્થિત ગુજરાત પ્રાંતના સંઘચાલક ડૉ. ભરતભાઈ પટેલે પોતાના ઉદ્બોધનમાં જણાવ્યું કે, શાખા દ્વારા ઘડાયેલા સ્વયંસેવકોએ પર્યાવરણ, સ્વદેશી, સમરસતા, ખેડૂત કલ્યાણ, ગૌસેવા અને ગ્રામ વિકાસ જેવા ક્ષેત્રોમાં પરિવર્તનનું કાર્ય આગળ વધાર્યું છે.

તેમણે વધુમાં જણાવ્યું કે:
* રાષ્ટ્રને આગળ લઈ જવા માટે માત્ર હક નહીં, પણ કર્તવ્યો પર ભાર મૂકવો પડશે.

* પર્યાવરણ બચાવવા માટે વૃક્ષારોપણ કરવું, પાણી બચાવવું, પ્લાસ્ટિકનો ઉપયોગ ઘટાડવો અને પ્રકૃતિપ્રેમી જીવનશૈલી અપનાવવી એ સમયની માંગ છે.

* કુટુંબ એ સંસ્કારની પ્રથમ વિદ્યાલય છે. સપ્તાહમાં એક દિવસ પરિવારના બધા સભ્યો સાથે ભોજન કરે અને એક કલાક “મંગલ સંવાદ” કરે તો પરિવારમાં આત્મીયતા, સંસ્કાર અને સમજણ વધે છે.

* દેશમાં જે પરિવર્તનની લહેર દેખાઈ રહી છે અને સનાતન મૂલ્યો પ્રત્યે સમાજમાં જે સ્વીકાર વધ્યો છે, તે સંગઠિત સમાજશક્તિ, સંતોના આશીર્વાદ અને સમાજની શક્તિના સતત પ્રયત્નોનું પરિણામ છે.

• વિવિધ વિષયોનું પ્રદર્શન

વર્ગ દરમિયાન અલગ-અલગ વિષયો પર આધારિત પ્રદર્શનીઓ ગોઠવવામાં આવી હતી, જેને વર્ગ દરમિયાન પધારેલા મહાનુભાવો અને સજ્જનોએ નિહાળી હતી. આ પ્રદર્શનીના મુખ્ય વિષયો નીચે મુજબ હતા:

* પર્યાવરણ અને સેવા વિભાગ
* સામાજિક સમરસતા
* પુણ્યભૂમિ ભારત અને પંચ પરિવર્તન
* સંઘ શતાબ્દી વર્ષના કાર્યક્રમો

* ભારતનું સંવિધાન
* વંદે માતરમ્ ના ૧૫૦ વર્ષ નિમિત્તે વિશેષ પ્રદર્શની

વર્ગનાં સમાપન સમારોહમાં બહોળી સંખ્યામાં ભાઈઓ અને બહેનો ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યાં હતાં.
