WAVE Names Now Available in Photonic Wallet!

The DNS of UTXO — ALL On-Chain, FULLY User-Owned

Decentralized naming for a decentralized world

What is WAVE?

WAVE is a peer-to-peer naming service built natively on the Radiant blockchain. It can replace traditional DNS and long wallet addresses with a completely decentralized, blockchain-based naming system where names are secured by proof-of-work and owned by you—no registrars, no centralized authorities.

Key Features

-All On-Chain — Every name registration, update, and resolution happens directly on the Radiant blockchain. No external databases. No off-chain dependencies.

-User Owned — Your name is a Layer-1 NFT (Claim Token) secured by your private key. True ownership.

-Decentralized Resolution — Names resolve by traversing a prefix tree of transactions from root to Claim Token. No DNS servers required.

-Human-Readable Payments — Send and receive Radiant to names like alice.rxd instead of long addresses.

-Mutable Metadata — Store arbitrary data with your name: payment addresses, avatars, contact info, and custom key-value records.

-Future: Flexible Zone Records — DNS-like record types (A, MX, TXT, CNAME) coming in protocol updates. The infrastructure is there.

-Future: Subdomain Delegation — Hierarchical name management with delegated subdomains planned for future releases.

How It Works

-Registration — Names are registered as a chain of transactions forming a prefix tree. Each character (a-z, 0-9, hyphen) is a UTXO output.

-Claim Token — The final output is your Claim Token—a Layer-1 NFT proving ownership.

-Resolution — Resolvers traverse the prefix tree from root to your Claim Token, following spends to find the latest unspent output.

-Updates — Modify your name's target address or stored metadata by spending your Claim Token to a new output with updated data.

Three New Glyph Token Mechanics Are Now Live on Radiant!!!

Thanks to everyone who updated to 3.1.2 - Glyph v2 is now live, each a first for the network and a proof-of-concept for capabilities

THAT EXIST NOWHERE ELSE.

ASERT — the first dMint token on Radiant to use a live difficulty adjustment algorithm. Previously, dMint difficulty was fixed at contract creation. ASERT changes that: a proven DAA, battle-tested at the chain level, now running inside a Glyph dMint contract as the token's own adaptive, script-enforced difficulty mechanism.

BLAKE3 — the first token to activate Radiant's OP_BLAKE3 opcode in a live dMint contract. Radiant is the only chain to expose BLAKE3 as a native script opcode. This token proves it works end-to-end — mineable, verifiable, and live on mainnet. BLAKE3 uses LWMA difficulty adjustment, the second new DAA now available to dMint contracts.

K12 — the first token to use Radiant's OP_K12 opcode. KangarooTwelve is a high-speed variant of SHA-3. Like BLAKE3, its existence as a native opcode is what makes this possible. K12 also runs LWMA DAA.

LWMA (Linearly Weighted Moving Average) is now available to all dMint contracts as another difficulty algorithm alongside Fixed and ASERT — giving token creators more control over how mining difficulty responds to GPU hashrate changes.
