The pastor spent $100k to upgrade his church's air and filtration system, making his church safe for those who wish to attend services. Nonetheless, Chronister arrested him and held a press conference touting the arrest.

He is a big Democrat donor. He gave money to Democrats Barack Obama, Mayor Jane Castor, Congresswoman Kathy Castor, Congressman Charlie Crist and the DNC.
