My Dad grew up about 10 minutes away from it. They actually do have a Santa the whole time the park is open every year. The County it's in is Spencer and the Spencer County Bank got started because of Holiday World (@ the time called Santa Claus Land opened in 1946).

There are roughly 2600 people and there is a semi-wealthy (for Indiana) gated community called Christmas Lake Village.
Holiday World is a great park and was a go to for my family in the Summer growing up.
