If you don't cultivate a land, nature cultivates it. Even if you don't clear the land, fertilize it, and keep it in good shape, there is still something that will come alive there. They are called WEEDS. Weeds dont need seeds. They don't need good soil, good weather, watering and fertilizing to grow. If you leave the land hanging They will easily take advantage and grow. Where profitable crops can't grow, the unprofitable ones like weeds grow rapidly and comfortably.

In agriculture, you check the weather, do the watering, fix the soil, and fertilize it properly before any profitable crop can be sown to see a good harvest. If you don't do these, the seeds will die in your very eyes without seeing any proper germination.

With that same soil condition, you don't even have to plant seeds. Weeds will show up without any plantation. No one plants them. No one water them. They show up naturally. Cut them off a thousand times, and they will show up again.

Beloved, it is the same with good and evil. Evil doesn't strive to show up. Evil manifest naturally. If you leave your heart and life unattended to, Evil will show up without any effort of yours. As weeds need no effort to grow in any soil and weather, so is evil. Evil comes up naturally in a life that doesn't live intentionally to please the Lord.

To grow as a plant before the Lord demands good soil and proper supervision. The bible says Jesus grew up as a tender plant before the Lord (Isaiah 53:2). You can choose to happen as a weed and make things happen to you as weeds, or you can choose to be planted and carefully grow by the full help and ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Weeds care about nothing. Plants are fully cared for. Be intentional about your life. If you choose to be idle for some months, what will show up naturally is a weed called poverty. You won't be lucky to have wealth show up. Flowers don't just show up. Gardens are planted. It is Bushes shows up without cultivation. If you live life carelessly, what is likely to show up is ill-health and death. Long life is not a jackpot. It is given through careful fellowship with the Holy Spirit of life. If you don't prepare for exams, success won't be automatic. Failure will be the obvious. To have success, you have to study diligently. You have to plant knowledge into your head.

If you want to be a plant with great fruits for your generation allow yourself to be cultivated by the Lord. If you want to be a flower to beautify your generation, allow God to cultivate you. Be intentional not to live your life unattended to so you don't invite the spirit of a weed. Refuse to be a weed. You are the tree of righteousness, the garden of the Lord. God wants you to be His planting. Don't be a weed. Be a seed in God's hand;

.... that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Beloved, start this week with this in mind, "if I do nothing. Weeds will show up." Be intentional to rise up and pray on Alpha Hour. Study your Bible. Be diligent in school. Be hard working at work and in business. Withdraw from evil and anything that comes in that form. Find a day in the week to fast. Be ready to walk with the Holy Spirit and obey Him daily. If you miss these consecration, be diligent enough to make up for it in another day.
