@Knowing14557733@AntiToxicPeople What evidence? That the election is fair? How low did US fall when you guys don't even believe in the basic principle of democracy - fair elections...it's the same thing as in 2020...just baseless claims that will not hold up in court
@MosleySimulator@Saaro_CC And they are trying to do something about it you know, while you never hear similiar stories from russia even though that country is much more corrupt...I wonder why
@DrEkonReid@Saaro_CC How is Ukraine making threats? They are defending their homes and everybody threw them under the bus, because of Russian nukes...so Russia deserve respect for wiping out cities and killing civilians?
To přece nemůžete myslet vážně s tou totalitou...větší svobodu, než teď, jsme nikdy neměli a je mi Vás líto, pokud to nevidíte.
@hasek_jiri@CT24zive Ano máte sice pravdu, bohužel i přes mé velké nesympatie k vládě, má v p. Macinka pravdu, zahraniční politiku tvoří vláda. To by si měl Macinka uvědomit.
@Joe86753091@jurgen_nauditt But that 10 %, it's probably the most fortified territory in Ukraine, add height advantage and 5 major cities, giving up this is suicidal for Ukraine. Ukraine already made concessions while Russia did not, ever. And Putin knows that, that's why he desperately needs this territory
This frames the debate as “Orbán wants peace, everyone else wants war” but that’s not accurate.
Most European leaders also want the war to end. The disagreement is about HOW to end it. Some think letting Russia keep Ukrainian territory rewards aggression and invites future invasions. Others think negotiating land for peace is realistic. Both sides claim they want peace.
On Orbán being brave: He’s maintained close Putin ties, blocked sanctions, and vetoed EU aid while Russia bombs Ukrainian cities. You can call that principled or call it prioritizing Hungary’s cheap Russian gas, but he’s not some lonely truth teller. He’s been isolated because most of Europe sees Russia as the aggressor.
On “war that cannot be won”: Ukraine has held off a much larger military and regained territory. Russia failed to capture Kyiv or overthrow the government. Whether it’s “winnable” depends on what winning means, but Ukraine hasn’t collapsed.
On Europe heading to war with Russia: Supporting Ukraine’s defense isn’t the same as Europe fighting Russia directly. No European troops are in combat. This is a slippery slope argument.
The real question isn’t “do you want peace” because everyone does. It’s whether you think appeasing Putin stops aggression or encourages more of it. History suggests dictators who win territory through invasion don’t suddenly become peaceful neighbors.
Orbán has every right to his position, but presenting it as the only moral choice while everyone else is warmongering is just politics, not facts.
