@XE2RV @WI4T_ @GridMasterHeat Good morning! I am in EM97, but I haven't been active on sats in a bit due to work and other things that have taken over for the moment. @KM4Ruth is known to activate EM97 from time to time as well.
Many thanks to your supports and likes for the FT-818 All in One Box. I've made a page on my wiki to explain in details : https://t.co/6VLqPSOBGH
You'll find also the files if you want to try but it's still a work in progress !
@K9EI_Tx They ones I made and put on thingiverse have a link to the screws I designed them for... Fit nice and flush in there holes https://t.co/gZW5ysjRLd
@W8LR_Jerry @w8lid @K0FFY_Radio As far as durability, I designed to protect knobs and connectors in event of a fall and did test with my 817. However, strength will really depend on how they are printed (material and infill). You can find that information on the thingiverse page too. 73!
@pdsousa @WC6QRyan This is the basic one I did for the 817, don't know if it would fit an 857 though https://t.co/VBr6qDGh9A the double ones are on thingiverse too
@N5LEX Yeah, Kure is the opposite for sure. More of a suburban feel without the giant hotels. However, you're close to some of that stuff if you want to go a little North to Carolina Beach. Lots of history with ft. Fisher park too.
@N5LEX@KI7UNJ Kure is a great little beach. I've been there a few times. Not overly populated or commericalized. The ferry is just south of there as well as aquarium.
@jeffhochberg @w8lid @AndrewBNortham If you don't have one, you can actually order a number of things printed by vendors on thingiverse..I've done that with a few larger items
