Obviously the main thing is to condemn Russia's monstrous actions, but I also don't love some of the rhetoric around NATO finding a new "unity of purpose." https://t.co/JMgwzJS6Lv
New free substack: I wrote about the potential Congressional ban on stock trading, and the deeper class conflict that lies beneath the more obvious conflict of interest issues https://t.co/f9NyQJs88o
New free post: I wrote about the parallels between anti-CRT and anti-communism, which was always profoundly racist. Included a round up of the latest anti-CRT bills and rhetoric that are explicitly anti-communist (there is a lot!) https://t.co/ZE2UXVro6z
New free substack post. Climate change isn't "our" fault. When someone says "we've wasted 30 years," they're obscuring who and what is actually to blame. Let's talk about the Capitalocene, baby! https://t.co/OukFaqKAjR
New post: I wrote about the similarities between Stand Your Ground laws and the US military's use of self-defense strikes, and who can weaponize their claims of reasonable fear https://t.co/70huA1xF6M
New from me: You can't go a day without hearing about the sorry state of US democracy. Unless we're also talking about capitalism, we're missing the point. https://t.co/UYkA8yh7lj
New free substack post looking at the history of rightwing anti-abortion violence and the role it's played in paving the way for legal challenges to Roe https://t.co/t9lEGaVlAO
Some personal news: I am temporarily (I hope) out of a job, as the show I was working on is on hiatus.
So with great ambivalence - against both common sense & popular demand - I started a substack. First post is here. Plz read & donate if you can https://t.co/eX1COhlMih
We have mp3 backups of all our archives, but they're no longer available through our old company's website. We'd like to make them available again at some point in the future, but we'll need to figure the best way to do that.
Hi everybody. Been a while since we tweeted from this account. Unfortunately, the occasion is a sad one. We just learned that the company we work for is shutting down immediately, which was very unexpected. For now at least, the show is going dark.
Thank you all for 11 years of allowing us to do exactly the kind of show we wanted. We don't know what's next for us, but it'll be something. We had the most amazing listeners, guests, and community. We'll figure out some way to keep it going in the future.
On today’s show we talk with @sarahljaffe about Brexit and the CTU and GM strikes. Also anti capitalist witches. Happy Halloween! https://t.co/RIgEv5vMWK
Great interview with @lantzarroyo, one of our co-owners on @Radio_Dispatch! Give it a listen for some Radix Media history and fun coop facts. #cooperatives https://t.co/bE08hnlHgq
Today: @RadixMedia's @lantzarroyo on running a worker owned print shop, its origins in Occupy Wall St, and the broader coop movement in the country https://t.co/cgMiVeTq6x
Today: @huertanix on cyber security, how journalists can protect sources, and the similarities and differences between Obama and Trump admins https://t.co/IluSVDNF4y
