@kangminlee I believe prolific commenter Subatai Bahadur (hopefully I got the spelling right) coined the acronym TWANLOC (Those Who Are No Longer Our Countrymen) to describe those who have come to hate their own country and its people.
@ChanceSon1226 This sounds like the same playbook they have used in Arizona in the US - sabotaging the ballot printers in Republican precincts, mailing out mail-in ballots willy-nilly, extending the time to count the votes for weeks, etc.
@jake__L_ I am always amazed how the protestors in Korea march neatly down the road so as not to block traffic.
If this was Leftist protest in the US they would be blocking the whole street, and if your car had a Trump sticker they would vandalize it and maybe give you a beating.
@hannahspierMD The biggest harm to societal stability is the loss of family formation because no man with an IQ above room temperature wants to make babies with a feminist.
Dr. Helen Smith literally wrote the book on this consequence, "Men On Strike," more than a dozen years ago.
@harukaawake In the second case the quality of life for most Japanese will decline regardless of GDP. There will be many extra costs associated with endless pilferage, burglaries, loss of safety in public transport, higher health care costs due to non-payment, on and on.
@Lily4Liberty This is very similar to to what happened in Maricopa County AZ in 2022, when ballot printers in R precincts suddenly lost the ability to print ballots that were machine scan-able.
Due to the long lines many people were denied their vote.
Same playbook, different place.
@japan_nobunaga Yes, many Americans in blue states and cities are experiencing just that. The UK is even worse off.
In the USA we have the 2A, but Japan has a different culture and history.
It may be time to undo the Sword Hunt.
@Lily4Liberty@sigsauerinc@GunOwners I'm old enough to remember when R party candidates were afraid to even mention guns because it was too extreme, except maybe to say they wanted to protect hunting.
@unethicalaccel@OneFlewOver_USA@SaysSimulation That's optimistic, and the percentage is probably rising.
There is no longer any social obligation to maintain a relationship with your parents.
Also, parents are a convenient scapegoat for therapists to use.
