Huge thanks to those who took the time to join our working party at Thrupp Lake yesterday 🥳
The team cleared leaves and debris from the new path and restaked the parking area hedge. Doesn't it look great?

Huge thanks to @MadameFlora for sharing these fascinating and varied fungi during her runs at #radleylakes
Huge thanks to the volunteers who helped scythe at Thrupp Green on Saturday! We had a perfect day for our first session of the autumn. Lapwing nest here and need the tall vegetation to be cleared so that they can view approaching predators.

Thanks to @LoganWalker75 for this remarkable capture of a four spotted chaser dragonfly.
According to the Wildlife Trust, four-spotted chasers spend a lot of time over water for insect-prey or to mark out their territories. They mate on the wing....
Well done and thank you to our team of hard working volunteers 👏 who have started removing excess gravel from the new footpath. We hope this will make the surface firmer and easier to walk on and manoeuvre buggies and wheelchairs. More work to continue this week and next.
