Greatly honoured to be elected Chair of the Planning Committee at today’s Annual Meeting of @BhamCityCouncil, a post I held from 2022-2024. Proud to be part of a broad coalition under @rogerbhx ready to address the many challenges facing our great city.
Jon you are and always have been a legend. Your decision to share your last big story will do so much to help people afflicted with Alzheimer’s. Sending you and your family love and sharing this picture of the last ever @Channel4News I presented with you in December 2021. ♥️
Not a parliamentarian.
Not a member of the Shadow Cabinet.
And certainly not the Shadow Home Secretary.
Also missed “Ltd” off the end of Reform UK.
This is just not true, @ZiaYusufUK
Watching @benleo soul leave his body when he comes at a Black man that’s not having any of his bullshit was a tonic I didn’t think I needed this morning. Lmao.
This is utter bull poo … Lord Mayor, Zaker Choudhry is a very good brother of mine. I was with him recently at Brums Election Count. AND we both spoke perfect english - always have done, in the last 10 Years I’ve know him.
This is what @POTUS would call #fake#news ⤵️
Birmingham, Britain’s second-largest city, has elected a new Lord Mayor this month.
Zaker Choudhry, who was born in Pakistan, has been sworn in as Lord Mayor. The ceremony opened with an Islamic prayer, and he becomes the first Muslim Liberal Democrat to hold the position in the UK.
Reports indicate that Choudhry speaks limited English and prefers to communicate in Urdu.
This continues a clear pattern in Birmingham and several other major British cities, where demographic changes are rapidly reshaping local leadership and culture.
Birmingham is increasingly becoming a symbol of Britain’s transformation.
If my boys grow up to be like Jo and Kush from Race Across the World we will have done something right. They’re a brilliant antidote to Tate-style toxic masculinity: bright, kind, compassionate, emotionally intelligent, grounded, and culturally aware. PROPER role models for boys.
