Today at TRPS we were gifted a handmade ash wood bench for all the children to enjoy. The bench was created by Charlie from H.W.Martin. Thanks to the team at EKFB for visiting us and working with our Year 3 classes this afternoon, they had a great time! #community#handmadebench
Yesterday we enjoyed an assembly all about St George’s Day & learned what a patron saint was. We then had the pleasure of learning all about Morris Dancing & enjoyed watching The Brackley Morris Dancers perform.
The children have enjoyed wearing their mufti and red noses for Comic Relief today! We have raised lots of money the grand total will be announced next week. #comicrelief#RedNoseDay

This week we have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of our ducklings at TRPS 🐣 We are delighted to say that all 5 are happy and healthy and enjoying their new temporary home. They've even been helping Miss Jeffery with her work today.
This week we had a visit from Helen Price of St Peter’s Church, Brackley. She came & spoke to us all about Lent & the religion reasons behind why we give things up in the 40 days & nights leading up to Easter. Thank you so much Helen!
On Tuesday, the children in Years 2, 3, 4 and 5 had a wonderful time learning traditional Chinese Dragon Dancing in preparation for Chinese New Year next week.
The whole school was then treated to a fantastic performance by Year 5 at the end of the day. 🐉🧧
This week we were delighted to hand over three pieces of art work to the Brackley Community Hospital.
The children thoroughly enjoyed working collaboratively on the pieces, which were inspired by nature and trees, and we hope that they will bring joy to all who see them!
Congratulations to all the winners of our design a teddy bear competition! All the designs we received were wonderful and gave us a difficult decision to pick just a few. Thank you to everyone who entered. Fantastic job 👏🐻
A big thank you to author Ben Lyttleton who visited us at The Radstone today. The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting him and hearing some extracts from his books. Ben’s books, written with co-author Alex Bellos, can be found at The Old Hall Bookshop in town.
