@SaraAnneReads @king3rika As an artist of only Elriel for over a year, this commission was a chance to explore a ship idea and enjoy an opportunity to work with a dear friend and talented artist. We don't need to explain ourselves any further than what Sara has already expressed.

[Rae Velaris @Rae2Velaris]

@SaraAnneReads @king3rika I'm going to chime in here as a co-commissioner but, more importantly, as a friend of Sara's. This commission was solely based on fanfic. That's it.

so what i’m hearing is only one side is allowed to ever act out and speak on anything and air private dms but when we respond with receipts timestamps and permission from our FRIEND (not some random artist) it’s suddenly a problem and bullying ? kk

[Meg 🩷💙 @elrielbaby]

Lying? Absolutely fine. Taking to your insta stories to publicly trash an artist? No worries. Saying something should be handled privately to your 60k following? It’s all good. 👍🏻 😁

[SaraAnneReads @SaraAnneReads]

I’m sharing this on behalf of myself, my Elriel commissioner friends, and Elriel artists who are tired of being attacked by certain fandom shit stirrers on the other side. We could coexist in this fandom if only they’d stop pushing us and spreading lies and false narratives.

[SaraAnneReads @SaraAnneReads]

The artist approved sharing the screenshots to correct the lie. This creator did NOT get permission before copying their art. She sought it after the copied art was posted. Timestamps don’t lie. Copied art was posted in December. Message to OG artist was sent in January

Painting by Gustav Klimt. I'll post that next. 🥰
I'd love to do more historical paintings in the future. ❤️

[Rae Velaris @Rae2Velaris]

I'm going to start adding my art on here. Let's start with the latest one. 🥰❤️
