@raphdamico Anyway, make small, cool things for the joy of it when you can! Everything that you are doing builds people's trust in you!
If you are looking for a place to start, check out some game jams!
This is just a reminder to make small projects!
I had been looking at The Zone by @raphdamico for awhile. It looked beautiful, but I wasn't 100% sold.
As a fill in, my group played his "Raised By Mechs" last week, and we loved the prompts so much, I bought The Zone the same day.
@crazy_newt @AlexRinehart_ Petituon to add custard to the list. That shit is a mis-timed sneeze away from terrible, sweet scrambled eggs, but it *theoretically* only takes 10 minutes.
@AlexRinehart_ Look, you used the word "tentacular" on like page 4, and there's mechanically meaningful crushes now? I am following the brief. This book is just *lightly* horny for tentacles, and that's that.
@AlexRinehart_ If it's answers you seek, I'd give it a 72% probability that means it is submitted, pending grading by an actual human. Which is great news, if not particularly clarifying news ๐
@AlexRinehart_ This feels like a Rorschach in which I see a gun that shoots hot dogs, a very, very happy worm, and a doglephant crawling out of a French horn.
Art is about restraint as much as it is about expression. In writing, for example, one asks: "what is to be said?" and "how is it to be said?" *and also* "what need not be said?" 1/2
