I think a part of learning in residency is learning when to pick your battles and when you don’t. It’s knowing when you have done what you could and there isn’t more to be done in that moment.
Advice #1: Make it to month two.
The learning curve is STEEP and it will never be as bad as it is now.
You are drowning in mental exhaustion and as you learn, each day will be easier than the one before.
Each month will be better than the last.
Make it to month two.
