Happy 250 America, I wasn't feeling it, and a close call with the screwball haters, but...bottom line? It's our day. This is our country, for better or worse, can we get on the same team and make it better? I get it, Trump has made me furious more times than I can count (read my Iran stuff) I'm not a fan, but I don't hate the guy either. I'm not a fan period of politicians, and if you are, you may want to check that because they are human. They will be wrong. We're not supposed to be fans, we hold them accountable, we the people. And, I'll stop there, just strange how all of the political leading into the day, just vanished for me when I checked the coverage. It was actually inspiring. For a holiday I normally didn't care for, just the weather, omg, its terrible in Oklahoma! I'm a autumn person, but this 4th, made me appreciate it! Thanks to everyone who put blood sweat and tears into this country, for a just cause, and yeah, even Trump. Good 250 host. So it's hot as hell, but I'm a 4th guy finally.

No more politics, I swear, but just...one more! It never ends. Is there any good news around the world, anyone? Yeah, I mean the TV obviously, I don't get this stuff anywhere else. I kinda, sorta trust our president, but not really, but I do? We're friends with Iran, or still the bad guys? Are we still with the people of Iran? I know, I hear ya, it's totally Israel's fault, but they're still good right? Anyone else feel like Trump did not think this one through? Again, I criticize him, and I voted for him, I'm never listening to his opponents because, well, their insane. Go Algea? Are you shitting me...i mean, kidding me, attack the reflecting pool. The Socialist States of America, spreading now. I just have real questions, and problems with how this particular situation went down, I don't have answers, I am totally confused though. I dread letting my attention near News of any kind it's so terrible these days. To nobody in particular, but if your browsing out there, maybe things aren't as bad they seem?

I don't use Twitter for political commentary, but...if you've seen who I follow, Fox News got me through the Biden years, honestly, any party think those were good years? Now, however, I have a really bad feeling about the next 3 with Trump. I couldn't stand this guy when he began his primary decades ago. Thought we'd be fine with Biden too though. It changed real fast when Trump was arrested, house invasion, piles of bs evidence, we don't do this, especially to an opponent running for office. They call me the old guard, or a neocon, but those terms are garbage. A republican who supported former president W Bush, and his decisions. He should've done better, but I digress. He made tough choices, he stuck to them. He's now a distant memory. This Trump on repeat about Iran, but Iran tells us otherwise. His Deal Impossible. Spoiler alert, there will never be a deal with that regime. I was elated at first, finally, Israel will get the support it desperately needs. Then kept getting angrier, our forces deployed, pause, deal or no deal. And then, Trump saying publicly what he did about Israel, it's Prime Minister, maybe I am old guard, but we don't talk about our allies like that. Especially when they are now our only, are they not? I feel sick at heart now. Trump is really going to leave, make us swallow a crap deal so he can save face and gas prices? It's almost like he didn't mean a word he said when we struck Iran. The democrats don't exist, not as they did, so I'm not jumping ship here, those people are idiots who are nearly as dangerous...I just have nowhere to go? That's how it feels. I hate politics. Now, Trump is a politician. Good luck with that art of deals...it's worked wonders in Iran. I pray for our soldiers, Israel, the Iranian people, and an uncertain future we almost changed. Just had to say it, changing the channel now. Ghost hunting season can't come soon enough!

@KatTimpf I heard Greg read this last night, and can imagine it's been a hell of a year for you! We all have them, but losing a parent, something I haven't yet, wish we never had to lose, even if only for a time. Just know that we're pulling for you out here, it won't be the same
