spending my evening (re)learning about self publishing a book. it's been three years in the writing but we are finally getting close. time to start figuring out the logistics that go along with this.

We have been in Florida for 11 days. In our new house for 4 of those.

Holy shit, do we love it here. It’s one think to vacation here (we have a lot) it’s another to live, shop, etc….

Admittedly, we live in a very nice area (Lakewood Ranch), but the people are so much more friendly.

The Barista at Starbucks engaged me this afternoon. Asked how our day and weekend were going.

We told him we just moved here and he kept engaging and said to ask questions anytime we stop in while we are getting aquatinted.

It’s been like that every fucking where.

Not dissing any other place, just saying we love it here and feel like we are already part of the community!

@MsKinCali There is the Atlantic side of the state and a bit south of us. We are on the Gulf side near Sarasota and Bradenton. In fact, our official Post Office address can be Bradenton.

Look y'all...I take a lot of heat for the whole Cubs and Packers fan thing but I don't actually hate the Brewers, and if the Cubs are out, I will cheer for the Brewers. Now the Cubs fans will be mad and I can never win, but goddammit, it is what it is.
