Ducks 16u (Danner) got their 1st of 2 wins yesterday in the @MidAmBaseball University of Kansas - The Midwest World Series in a 7-1 ballgame. Raffello Filipponi (@Raffello1618, 2027, St. Pius) contributed on both sides of the field leading 16u (Danner) to the victory.

Filipponi went 5 innings on the bump earning the win while allowing just 3 hits and 1 run with 5K’s. He also added a double at the plate on his way to 2 hits and 2 RBI.

Ducks 16u (Danner) collects another W wrapping up a solid pool play with a 3-1 record in the Chad Wolff Classic (@CWC_Arkansas). Raffello Filipponi (@raffellofilipponi) produced at the dish to help with the 8 spot.

Filipponi crossed the plate twice while also collecting 2 knocks.

Ducks 16u (Danner) starts another weekend 1-0; this time in the @MidAmBaseball 15u/16u Kansas: The Midwest Prospect Select. They came back down from 2-0 early to rattle of 6 straight thanks to Raffello Filipponi controlling the game on the mound.

Filipponi went all 7 earning the win while giving up just 4 hits and 2 runs and fanning 3.
