After today's remarkable electoral performance by PTI, will we finally see the end of those "PTI isn't really that popular, it's just hyped on social media" takes?
It's PTI's mass popularity that enabled it to persevere and defy the electoral odds, and in such a big way.
Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of a functioning democracy. I condemn the use of political violence and the restriction on freedoms of expression in Pakistan.
I am closely monitoring the situation on the ground and urge officials to adhere to the rule of law.
Press organizations in #Pakistan should be free to report vote tabulations and there should be no unwarranted delay in announcing results.
@DrMahmood40
Pakistanis have the right to elect their leaders without cell phone service shutdowns & other authoritarian practices aimed at undermining election results.
The U.S. must stand with the Pakistani people & make clear we will not support anyone working to undermine democracy.
We stand with the people of Pakistan’s right to fair elections, free of violence and intimidation.
The U.S. must ensure our tax dollars are not undermining democracy and political dissent in Pakistan and across the globe.
Make no mistake, the world will be watching how the Feb. 8 elections in Pakistan unfold. The Government of Pakistan must prioritize free and fair elections, due process, the rule of law, and respect for human rights.
Criticism aside, let’s look deep into the reality. @babarazam258 in 100 T 20 internationals has posted 3 hundreds, 32 half-centuries, & 8 scores over 40s making a total of 43 innings high on both, the qualitative & quantitative analysis.

In Power Plays his overall strike rate has been 117.20 (in wins SR in PP was 118.1 & in losses in PP his SR was 117.50.
An impact player & an innings builder, not a finisher by instinct, Babar remains the leading batsman regardless of the situations.
Get me better numbers with impact in T 20 Internationals in the contemporary Pakistan team. Each player has his own niche, style, compatibility, utility & role. Let’s not mix everything based on agendas. Babar Azam is one of the finest batsmen ever to play for Pakistan collectively across all formats.
