@Mattlegostar2 Most of these can only be seen in satellite images. If what replaces them is textured/themed flooring (like what they’ve been installing in Adventureland), then it wouldn’t be too much of a loss.

@ThemeParkLore If they really wanted them to look more decorated, they should at least make them look like furniture or carriages or *something* that makes more sense in-universe as something you’d see inside a mansion. It’d still be unnecessary, but would at least make sense within the story.

@ThemeParkLore I think it’s is a better fit simply because the transition from Hollywood Blvd to Zootopia would feel smoother and more logical (Urban to urban). Also, the Monorail would probably be running overhead, and it would look better in Zootopia.

@imemegination I think it’s a blessing in disguise that the most beautiful and thoughtfully designed Disneyland was largely ignored during the Iger years. Discoveryland, in particular, wouldn’t have survived a round of Iger-era mandates to add “relevant” IP.

@Cosmic_Gasu They wanted a Mayan temple (for Indiana Jones) and the house from Encanto, so they needed a term that included both Central America and the northern parts of South America (Colombia). IMHO, they could’ve just called it South America and just featured an *Incan* temple instead. 🤷‍♂️

@NeVerLAnd_4EV3R Adding the dark ride portions would be logistically complex, but one thing they *could* do is improve the rear façade so it matches the level of detail of the front: windows, balconies, everything that makes it look like a real hotel.

@DisTouristBlog I honestly don't get why they don't just go back to the OG MagicBands and give them for free to hotel guests. They couldn't possibly be *that* much more expensive than the plastic cards they give you for free anyway, right? They're just a plastic band with an RFID chip.

@north0fnorth It has a few seats at either end for people who might need them, but I’m guessing the lack of seating is because the ride is short and they want to fit as many people as possible. I like to think of the shuttle as a horizontal elevator.
