I drew this in 2022, dreaming of what Rhoads could be. AI just made into something more than a pen drawing!
I would still change: visitor bullpen under overhang. Dugouts closer. Add some grass space beyond the tiered outfield somehow. Totally make a student section
Get 'em while you can! A limited number of single-game standing room only tickets are on sale now for the NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional at The Joe. ⚾️🎟️
* General admission access includes a variety of spaces inside Sewell-Thomas Stadium, including the expanded Right Field Terrace, Rally Point third base patio, and the grass berm on the first base concourse.

I thought now might be a good time to share a quote from George that didn't make it into the story.
"I try to be encouraging. Some of my friends ask me, why are you so positive about softball? I said, there’s three reasons. One, there’s enough negativity in this world. I don’t need to add any to it. Two is, it doesn’t do any good. Three, there’s nobody harder on them than them."
Just had the chance to speak with @UACoachMurphy after Alabama softball landed back in Tuscaloosa from the WCWS.
Murphy ended the interview saying Bama fans need to pack The Joe this weekend and do their part to help @AlabamaBSB get back to Omaha.
They'll never know they joy they bring to us all. They'll never know the memories they help families create.
But they will know that they are loved and appreciated. As student-athletes. As people.
Thank you for an incredible spring, and a remarkable week in OKC @AlabamaSB
I am so proud of Team 30! Here is your friendly reminder that we are more than just the softball players you see on the field. Before commenting on someone’s performance, remember there is a human behind the jersey🤍
