Thou shalt record each and every process of restoration.
Thou shalt properly maintain the restored piece.

Thou shalt not over restore.
Thou shalt not start restoration till everything is properly researched.
Thou shalt not dismantle anything unless it is absolutely inevitable.
Thou shalt always use the correct fastenings.

@Ananth_IRAS The same had happened with the 'Fairy Queen'. As a restorer and Railway archivist myself, I was privileged to help the Rewari Shed to put that loco back into some semblance of original cosmetics, back in 2016.

@Ananth_IRAS 'Restoration' does not mean 'decoration'. Indian Railways must do proper research as the custodian of our heritage and not leave locomotive restoration to whimsy.
