#WATCH | Bhubaneswar, Odisha | Petroleum Dealers Association President Sasanka Sekhar Sahu says, "We are urging the government to reconsider the introduction of E20 fuel... Dealers are facing significant difficulties with the current E20 rollout. While the blend is capped at 10% in most countries worldwide, India has implemented a 20% blend. Consequently, the vehicles currently available in India are not fully compatible with this fuel. BS6 vehicles in India were not originally designed to handle this specific blend. This leads to issues like clogged carburettors and other mechanical failures. Customers then come to the petrol pumps and create a ruckus, even though the pump owners have no control over the situation. The government introduced the fuel, and we simply sell it. These problems, which were non-existent before, have only surfaced since the introduction of E20..."
#WATCH | AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal says, "There is significant public anger regarding 20% ethanol-blended petrol. On June 30, the Central Government stated before the Supreme Court through the Attorney General that this was merely an experiment and that future action would depend on the results...However, once the matter surfaced in the media and press, the Central Government completely backtracked. It issued a statement claiming that it had said no such thing and dismissed the reports as false...An experiment typically involves testing something on a limited scale, say, on 100, 500, or 1,000 vehicles. Based on the results of such a trial, a decision is made on whether it should be implemented nationwide. Yet, you have made ethanol-blended petrol mandatory for vehicles across the country, affecting a population of 1.4 billion people, while simultaneously claiming that you are conducting an experiment. Will you compensate those whose vehicles are being damaged?... It is your duty to respect the people's mandate, listen to their concerns, and act in accordance with their wishes. I will write a letter to the Prime Minister in the coming days requesting him to withdraw this policy..."

Visited the Lumiรจre Museum and the screening room where Eega and RRR was screened to a full house in Lyon, France.
Thierry Frรฉmaux, the director of the Institut Lumiรจre and the Cannes Film Festival, was gracious enough to introduce me. Then he said he had planned a surprise and walked me through the very street where cinema was born. I was already emotional for everything that was happening around me.
And there is this wall full of plaques. Names of legends like Martin Scorsese, Clint Eastwood, Quentin Tarantino, Francis Ford Coppolaโฆ and then I noticed a plate covered with a red cloth. My mind went blank.
I donโt even know what to say for the honour of having my name permanently placed on the Mur des Cinรฉastes, along with the greats.
Only gratitude. Deeply, deeply humbled. ๐
Thank you @InstitutLumiere for a memory I will carry for a lifetime.

#Opinion | India's biggest experiment isn't happening in a laboratory. It's happening at fuel pumps, with 1.4 billion people as the sample. Welcome to the world's biggest fuel trial, where every Indian motorist is unwillingly, a participant.

Today, the Attorney General of India told the Supreme Court that E20 is still an experiment โ with results expected only next year.
This is the Union of India's own sworn submission.
Team Bharat began this research with one thesis: that E20, as structured, was never built to benefit Indian farmers. It was built to open a permanent market for American corn, ethanol and DDGS.
We have not found anyone else, anywhere, who traced this specific chain before: the DDGS export contradiction, the GAIL joint venture with a company holding DuPont's conversion patents, the undefined import quota with no reprocessing restriction. Team Bharat connected those dots first.
The evidence for who actually benefits is no longer speculative. Mark Mueller, President of the Iowa Corn Growers Association, called India's $500 billion trade commitment "a win for corn farmers." The US Grains Council said, plainly, that they need more "export homes" for DDGS. Indian sugarcane farmers, meanwhile, are still owed arrears that have tripled in a year, now being pushed toward maize โ the one feedstock this very programme made more expensive.
>Forex saved? Not correct โ the figure ignores the dollar liability India is now taking on.
>Self-sufficiency? Not correct โ we traced a new dependency forming, not less of one.
>Farmers benefit? Not correct โ sugarcane farmers remain unpaid, now pushed toward a costlier crop.
>Environment protected? Widely reported that the water and soil cost has not been honestly accounted for either.
We don't know what moved the government to tell the Court this is still an unproven experiment. What we know is that it confirms everything Team Bharat has documented.
None of this reached the public on its own. Heartfelt thanks to @tehseenp brother โ your voice carried this further than any of us could alone. Thanks to @factswithdinesh, @nachiket1982, to everyone who asked questions, @ShivrattanDhil1, and filed RTIs. This is your win as much as anyone's.
Team Bharat is asking for course correction, not confrontation โ pause the mandate until the results the government itself promised arrive, and restore E5-E10 as a choice.

A man who doesnโt know what a 2.0L or 3.0L engine is, the difference between AWD and RWD, A/T and M/T tyres, CVT, DCT or DSG transmissions, what a transfer case (TC) is,
what naturally aspirated or twin-turbo engines are, or what LSD, diff locks, IFS, and IRS mean, shouldnโt be lecturing car owners about fuel policy or claiming ethanol has no effect on engines.
I challenge Gadkari ji to a debate on these automotive basics before telling us how our cars work!! #Gadkari

VIDEO | All electric cars with an ex-showroom price of Rs 30 lakh or less registered in the national capital will be granted 100 per cent exemption on road tax and registration fees, as the Delhi government approved a new EV policy on Monday.
Under the new policy, people buying e-two-wheelers will get a subsidy of Rs 30,000 in the first year, Rs 20,000 in the second year and Rs 10,000 in the third year.
As part of the policy, only electric autorickshaws will be registered in Delhi from January 1, 2027, while registration of new petrol and CNG two-wheelers will be phased out, with only electric two-wheelers to be registered from April 1, 2028.
Addressing a press conference, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta (@gupta_rekha)vsaid that around Rs 15,000 crore will be invested under the new policy over the next four years to promote electric mobility and reduce vehicular pollution in the national capital.
The policy, approved by the Delhi Cabinet, will come into effect from July 1, the CM said, describing it as a major step towards making Delhi a pollution-free city by March 31, 2030.
