UnitedHealthcare has dropped Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from its network, leaving 20,000 cancer patients (including me) without access to our doctors and life-saving treatment starting July 1.

Cancer patients cannot simply “go elsewhere.” Finding new specialists takes time many of us don’t have. This reckless decision will overload other hospitals, delay care, and endanger lives.

What kind of company knowingly disrupts cancer treatment for thousands of people? Shame on you, @UHC.
