@keyan_concrete@LoganARobison Why low carb after a workout? The only time to really push carbs is before and after workouts imo.
I definitely don't follow this rule as well as I should, but pre or post workout carbs are guilt free and muscle building (moderation of course).
I could be wrong, but again just judging by your media it might be lower. I'd recommend getting a scan done.
Anyways I would recommend actually getting carbs near workouts more than protein. You still absolutely need protein, but right before a workout get some honey or maple syrup and a banana. Some glucose before your workout will allow you to go harder and your muscles will look better. Carbs before and after a workout help you satisfy that sweet tooth (or savory if that's your style) and puts it into your muscles quickly (look up glycogen and muscle building). As long as your getting your protein goals most of your muscle building happens while your sleeping.
You're right that fasting has great benefits, but it might be worth eating earlier than 7pm so that your food can start to be more digested before sleep and used for muscle repair. Also you don't want to sleep with food being digested because the insulin in your body will actually inhibit your natural HGH being secreted. I'd recommend reducing the fasting time during the day and maximize fasting time during the night. So if you stop eating about 3 hours before bed and then you know you're going to wake up and get some carbs before a workout then you can plan accordingly. But your sleep should have as little food being processed as possible for maximum recovery, HGH secretion, glycogen replenishment, muscle protein synthesis, and hormone balance. So don't reduce overall fasting, because it does have amazing benefits, just time it to optimize your output and rebuilding. If you want your fast to last longer and don't want carbs in the early morning then I would definitely recommend planning the fast around your sleep to replenish glycogen in the muscles so you can still get a good workout.
To the Americans:
I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.
And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:
You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.
This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.
Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.
This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.
But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.
This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.
And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:
Thank God for the United States.
Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.
Long may your admirable country dominate the world.
Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states.
May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning.
Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill.
Thank God for the USA.
Happy 250th.

@RepPettersen Illegals do deserve better.
They should feel safe, protected, and cared for in their home countries, which are great btw. They should all go back to their countries.
@kalospepgod I also recognize 30% was not in fact a good look.
About 178ish (trying to get back up to 180, hard in a cut) lean body mass.
About 15% at 210-212. Gonna go a little lower just to see, but I work an office job and got a family. Main goal is to stay under 20%. Prolly 15%-18%
