For nearly three years, my family has been trying to survive the unimaginable in Gaza.
I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help, but I was left with no other choice. I created a fundraiser because I am responsible for 24 family members, including 16 children, who depend on me for food, medicine, and the basic necessities of life.
One of them is my nephew, Khaled. Because of the famine, severe malnutrition, and the unbearable conditions we have endured, he developed bowed legs and now needs medical braces, medication, and physical therapy to have a chance at recovery.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps us move one step closer to getting Khaled the treatment he urgently needs and keeping the rest of our family alive through these incredibly difficult days.
If you are able, please donate. If you cannot, sharing our story means more than you know.

this is a good example of how population health cannot be secured individually
health cannot be a personal responsibility when the conditions for health do not exist
when you lack safe food, clean air, or clean water, individual choices cannot save you
Your colleagues do not owe you the social engagement you need to feel connected to other people. Their job duties do not include caring for you. Working together, collaborting, and producting a net positive outcome together can be done across any modality. Work is not family.
@baylyynch people lack analysis of craft, so instead of breaking down why they don't like something they use generic limited terms instead to capture feelings that they don't know how to articulate. but to get better at that requires investment and few people got the time, it's a bad cycle.
