@taigapog @envinyon The runs that Nacl Free organizes were how I was able to get my clear. It's open to anyone so there's no guarantee you'll get far, but they have been getting more consistent over time with getting to magitaur.

@envinyon Agree on both fronts, but *especially* the wedding aspect. The fact that you can't attend a wedding on another world seems crazy to me.

@envinyon I feel like it could be fun as an experiment to design a fight where people can swap between two jobs. It would be kind of awful for that to become universal, but it could be a fun one-time gimmick.

@NipahDUBS I know people have better methods, but one trick I've used in the past is taking advantage of Savage release to sell materia. I stockpile Chloe certificates over an expansion and use all the bronze / silver ones when the first Savage tier releases to produce materia to sell.

@envinyon The ending to Myths of the Realm is one of the story choices I most strongly disagree with in FF14. The idea of fleshing out the gods was cool IMO, but doing so as a prelude to them all leaving was a bummer (and their departure removes one of the cool parts of the setting).

@Cloudmoding I had a similar experience in second grade where I answered a problem like 4 - 7 as negative 3 rather than the expected answer of zero (as I had learned about negative numbers from my mom). In hindsight, I think the teacher was just trying not to confuse the other kids.

@AlanLevinovitz This feeling is one of the big reasons I don't like teaching online classes. For in person classes, I can feel reasonably confident they aren't cheating on tests. For online classes, it's a lot harder.

@LichVtuber The mage exams aren't my favorite part either, but they establish characters that you'll see again in the future. Watching season 2 gave me a greater appreciation for what the mage exams were doing for the narrative.
