You transgress upon mind and flesh
Until your sins call the darkness home.
By dawn, you wear the husk of the pious,
Only to shed your deceitful skin at dusk.
Here’s to the creatures we truly are
Within the fortified walls of certainty,
When nothing but the emptiness watches.
It was only fitting that your words became as hollow and empty as you. That the last shred of your own will and volition has seeped through your fingers.
You have stopped finding solace within words. The tapestries you had weaved are no longer succint. Words have left you.
Words that you abused, and in turn, abused others at your every whim; or was it the other way around?
You can’t really remember anymore. Not that it matters now. You no longer are what you write.
You are no longer.
This may very well be the end.
