This happens on choosing Indian Air lines over international @airvistara charged £24 for window seat and ended up giving me completely different seat. And I was advised to follow the task of refund procedure for the apparent mistake of @airvistara staff.

A thing I learnt from UK weather, is however hard you try and prepare and control to have a grip over the consequences , it will still be out of your bounds (most of the time) . And it's okay to go literally, "go with the flow" . Because you never know you might be amazed.
