Hey everyone,

I’m Rahbar. I’ve been developing on Roblox since 2018 and have worked on games that have reached billions of visits and tens of thousands of CCU.

On August 21st, my PC was hacked and I lost access to my accounts, including Discord, Steam, and my main Roblox account, IamRahbar.

What’s concerning is that none of my other Roblox accounts were taken — only my main account.

I’ve contacted Roblox Support 4 times now, but each time I’ve been told they can’t verify that I’m the owner of the account. I’m willing to provide any information or verification needed. The account was ID verified, I’ve DevEx’d from it, and I’ve had it for around 8 years.

I also reached out to Developer Relations, but was told that account recovery is outside their scope and that Roblox Support is my best option.

Today, August 23rd, my account was terminated/deleted.

I’ve been trying to get help since the account was compromised, and if I had been able to recover it in time, this could potentially have been avoided.

What’s also surprising to me is how easy it can be to lose an account even when you have multiple layers of 2FA and security enabled. This could happen to anyone, and I hope Roblox can look into situations like this more closely.

At this point, I’m just looking for someone at Roblox who can help me verify my ownership and look into what happened to the account.

If anyone at Roblox can help, or knows someone who can escalate this, I’d really appreciate it.

@SealCutLemon I had it too, I had every 2FA including passkey and what not. Despite all of this, our accounts are vulnerable

@WorldHopSociety Yes, I did everything I could before making this post. I did write a ticket from my first email, which is also the billing email and the devex email. Nothing so far.

I have official Apple receipts to prove ownership, but automated bots keep closing my tickets. I need a real human review!

@RussBirb I think it's because of some malicious link, cannot properly recall what exactly caused this hack, but the people behind it only targetted my main account which means they definitely knew about Roblox etc.

@iceyakihiko I did, I even sent them proof of transaction but again, I was sent the same automated message. I'll send it to the legal team this time now though.

@noterliv I did, using that email as well as my devex email, but no luck. I sent Roblox proof of purchase too but still no luck.
