Kashmir's agriculture and horticulture industries are suffering due to the unchecked sale of spurious fertilisers and pesticides. In years, hundreds of companies have been allowed to supply these products in Kashmir without proper procedures or SKAUST testing. The Director of Enforcement, who is receiving extensions, is enabling this mafia. Corruption and negligence are destroying our backbone economy. The government must appoint an honest official to tackle this rampant corruption, investigate the fake companies, and ensure all products follow proper procedures.
