Secondly sir: yesterday you said your son's Ethanol business is just 0.07%, this sir is roughly about ₹50-₹100 crores a year! How many INDIANS earn that kind of money? Sir with humility, this is BETA BADHAO YOJANA & a conflict of interest. Sir we await your revert!

आज मैं देश की सभी auto manufacturing companies को लेटर लिख रहा हूँ - वे जनता को बतायें कि क्या उनके 2023 के पहले बने products में E20 इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। यदि हाँ, तो mileage या किसी component के ख़राब होने पर कंपनी नुक़सान की भरपाई करेगी?
आज 12 बजे PC में सभी पत्र रिलीज़ करूँगा।
केंद्र सरकार देश के करोड़ों वाहन मालिकों के भारी विरोध के बावजूद पूरे देश पर ज़बरदस्ती E20 पेट्रोल थोप रही है।
→ 3 जुलाई को सरकार ने 6 बड़ी ऑटो कंपनियों पर E20 को सुरक्षित बताने के लिए प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस करने का दबाव बनाया।
→ 3 कंपनियों ने ऐसा दावा करने से साफ़ इनकार कर दिया।
→ मारुति सुज़ुकी, टोयोटा किर्लोस्कर और हीरो मोटोकॉर्प ने कहा कि पुरानी गाड़ियों में भी E20 सुरक्षित है और इससे सिर्फ़ 5–7% माइलेज घटेगा।
→ लेकिन टोयोटा के आधिकारिक ओनर मैनुअल में केवल E10 (10% इथेनॉल) तक के इस्तेमाल की अनुमति है।
→ मैनुअल में यह भी लिखा है कि E10 से भी परफॉर्मेंस या माइलेज प्रभावित हो, तो E0 (0% इथेनॉल) पेट्रोल पर वापस लौट जाएँ।
→ जब कंपनियों के अपने दस्तावेज़ E10 की सीमा तय करते हैं, तो प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में E20 को पूरी तरह सुरक्षित कैसे बताया जा रहा है?

मोदी सरकार लोगों के ज़बरदस्त विरोध के बावज़ूद E 20 पेट्रोल थोप रही है। और इसके लिए झूठ बोल रही है, तरह तरह के हथकंडों का इस्तेमाल कर रही है।
इसी मुद्दे पर आज 12 बजे प्रेस कांफ्रेंस।

Dealers are facing significant difficulties with the current E20 rollout. While the blend is capped at 10% in most countries worldwide, India has implemented a 20% blend. Consequently, the vehicles currently available in India are not fully compatible with this fuel. BS6 vehicles in India were not originally designed to handle this specific blend. This leads to issues like clogged carburettors and other mechanical failures. Customers then come to the petrol pumps and create a ruckus, even though the pump owners have no control over the situation. The government introduced the fuel, and we simply sell it. These problems, which were non-existent before, have only surfaced since the introduction of E20..."
Ethanol will hurt the BJP electorally, not because of car owners, the are just 8% of the population, but because of bike owners, who make up 60%.
Every issue with a bike, irrespective of whether it's due to ethanol or not, is being blamed on ethanol. Remember that the overwhelming majority of car and bike mechanics are not your voters and, in fact, they hate you and you know why. They are actively telling anyone with any bike issue that it is due to ethanol. Not only does it serve a political purpose, but it is also easy and convincing.
Car and bike dealers are equally happy to lean into this excuse because it completely deflects blame away from the manufacturers and their own service centers. If a part fails prematurely or a vehicle suffers from a chronic engineering defect, blaming ethanol allows dealers to shift the responsibility onto government policy rather than admitting to poor build quality or honoring warranty claims. It gives them a convenient, politically charged scapegoat that customers readily accept, shielding the automotive brands from reputational damage.
It's up to the BJP to smell the coffee. The issue is no longer on Twitter and no longer raised just by English-speaking metro car owners. It has gone to the ground. There is still time to wake up and make corrections.
P.S. I'm not defending ethanol here. It does damage engines and parts. I've been strongly opposing it and will keep doing so. I'm only saying what's happening on the ground. The BJP should do a course correction on ethanol solely because its implementation was wrong and correcting it is only logical. However, since politicians see every controversy from the standpoint of electoral gains and losses, I'm telling them that it will hurt them electorally too.
