Interviewer: You're an IIT engineer working in tech. Why join civil services?
Kajal Meena, RAS (2024 batch), state topper (ST): Because a civil servant has authority to bring positive change in people’s lives.
Yesterday she was arrested by the ACB for accepting a ₹60k bribe.
This is NOT funny. This is criminal.
A kid sitting in the backseat of this car (DL2CBF0212) was throwing water balloons at bike riders on a flyover. One rider was seconds away from a fatal fall… this could have been a death, not a “prank”.
Even more shocking, the woman in the co-passenger seat is seen laughing.
This is reckless endangerment. Strict action must be taken before someone actually loses their life.

@dtptraffic@DelhiPolice, will you act only after a tragedy happens?
Identify them. Take action.
Army officer (1-2L salary) rolls up in Mahindra SUV with wife, off-duty, refuses toll.
Respect to the toll guy — polite & professional despite the drama.
Hope the top brass sees this. 💯
ANCHOR : How do you see Indian economy?
EXPERT : Ladli Behen Yojna is masterstroke. Behen gets money, her husband gets daaru and govt gets vote 🤣🤣🤣
Epic roasting of BJP after #Budget2026 🔥
STT on futures hiked by 2.5X and on options by 1.5X
Total volume of transactions in F&O in USA is more than 700x of their GDP, for Europe around 300x and then how India is outlier with 500X?
Arguing excessive liquidity breeds speculation and instability, but evidence shows liquidity correlates with 1-2% higher long-term growth (e.g., US/Japan vs. less liquid peers).
Poor paid intern has written above tweet and is writing options and futures instead of futures and options or F&O.
If you are so worried about speculation then why LTCG was not scrapped and STCG not reduced? Why STT on cash market not removed?
Start speaking truth which is you need tax money to fund bawli behna yojnas to buy votes.
Do not couch this greedy move into some well being concern for investors and traders.
If a person gets into MBBS through reservation and, even after 5½ years of medical training, still can’t secure basic qualifying marks for PG, forcing PG cutoffs to be pushed down to minus 40, then reservation at the MBBS level was pointless. It didn’t empower anyone.
𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 must be 𝗥𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱.
I explained in Parliament how Investment in India remains heavily taxed, and why it needs to change.
FIIs are exiting. INR has breached 90 against the USD.
Our Demand:
1. Abolish LTCG.
2. Rationalize STT.
I appeal to every Finfluencer in India to repost this. We need a unified voice to force the system to listen.
Discussion in parliament on ‘how LTCG & STCG high taxes forcing foreign investors to exit & penalizing domestic middle-class investors.
Govt should remove LTCG 100% & reduce STCG to 10% from 20% currently.

BJP voters today are stuck in the same loop. They don’t really have a choice. If they get frustrated, they drift towards Congress, and after seeing the reality there, they end up returning to BJP again.
India deserves real options, not forced loyalty. When politics becomes a choice between bad and worse, democracy suffers.
A specially abled son seeking justice for his mother. This is what adult filth from Bollywood & porn has done to young minds. Local media reports that a 14-yr-old, influenced by it, viciously attacked a lady with depraved intent. Reality is that sacred relations have now been twisted into porn trash.
India can also have this too, but instead you get:
Ladli Behna Yojana
Freebies for freeloaders
Caste census and politics
Reservation over merit
Language politics
Vote-bank appeasement
Amazon is laying off 14,000 employees, including in India, as AI takes over their roles.
The cruel part is how fragile private sector “stability” is. You get a job, start earning, feel settled, plan a future, buy a house on EMI, and one fine morning the company decides to “downsize”. Suddenly, you’re jobless. If a new job doesn’t come quickly, those EMIs can destroy your peace and your life.
And the govt! While you earn, you must pay taxes. The moment you lose your job, you’re on your own. Farmers get compensation when crops fail, despite many paying zero income tax, but a taxpayer losing his job gets practically nothing.
Maybe it's time to introduce reforms like make EMI pauses for few months more liberal for those who lose their jobs, and providing a time-bound monthly allowance for few months from the govt, except for disciplinary cases of course. Ladla/Ladlis can get free money, free ration, free water and electricity, so why not support a worker who has been paying taxes and contributing?
He is Harcharan Singh Bhullar, IPS, currently DIG, Ropar. He was arrested today by CBI for taking a bribe to settle a case.
That's fine. When you work relentlessly for the nation, bribe is your right. What's outrageous though is the amount! Just 5 lakhs! He was caught for taking just ₹5 lakh! What’s happening to our senior officers? With the power they hold, getting caught for anything under ₹1 crore is a disgrace to the chair.
Shame on this DIG for tarnishing the prestige of his rank. He should be charged not for bribery, but for embarrassing the bribery standards of the post he holds.
EPFO now thinks your own money is a luxury.
You work for years. Every month, a part of your salary is forcefully deducted as PF, no choice, no say.
Earlier, if you weren’t employed for 2 months, you could withdraw your PF.
Now they’ve made it 12 months.
And pension withdrawal? 36 months.
So if you lose your job today, you can’t touch your own money for a year.
How is this fair?
You save because they force you to, and when you actually need it, they lock it away.
This isn’t reform.
It’s bureaucratic cruelty against employees.
