Amazon India took ₹86,799 from me and delivered a box with a different graphics card inside, padded out with loose screwdrivers as weight filler.

I ordered an ASUS RTX 5070. The box serial is confirmed by ASUS's own database as the card I ordered. The card inside is not that card.

How it happened: Amazon clubbed two separate orders into one carton — the GPU, an Open Box Delivery item, and a UPS, which wasn't. One OTP came. I shared it thinking it was for the UPS. Only then was I told both were in the same box. The GPU was never opened or shown to me.

So an Open Box Delivery item was handed over on another order's OTP, and the inspection I paid ₹149 extra for never happened. Amazon's own order page STILL shows it as "Not yet serviced".

I have CCTV footage. Photos. ASUS verification. The card is still sealed, untouched, available for inspection.

And what have I got? Called customer service more times than I can count — "we're escalating to the concerned team", every single time. Sent email after email. No reply. Executive Customer Relations gave me a deadline for resolution and blew through it.

The item is marked "not returnable" so I can't even raise a return. My EMI has started. I am paying instalments on a product I never received.

5 years an Amazon Prime customer. This is genuinely how you treat a customer with proof on his side? I want a refund. Nothing else.

Officer on 6 Aug. Complaint filed with the National Consumer Helpline.

The item is still sealed and unopened, available for inspection.

That's the card I paid for. It isn't the card that was inside.

Amazon's response: the delivery record and OTP show the correct item was
delivered.

The listing also shows the item as "not returnable", so I can't raise a
return either.

ASUS's own statutory label on the box:

"Package Contain: Manual-1N, VGA-1N"

One manual, one graphics card. Not screwdrivers.

MRP ₹1,25,000. I paid ₹86,799 as an Open Box deal.
