In a continued effort to restore lost property and strengthen public trust, Anugola Police today handed over 𝟭𝟬𝟱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁/𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀
worth approximately ₹𝟮𝟭 𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗵 to their rightful owners during 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟱.𝟬 at the District Police Office.
With this, Anugola Police has successfully recovered and returned more than 𝟲𝟴𝟬 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 ₹𝟭.𝟯𝟬 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗲 through five Mobile Melas. The recoveries were made using complaints received through the 𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗥-𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗶 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹 and the district police WhatsApp helpline, with the dedicated efforts of Police Stations and the District Cyber Cell.
ହଜିଯାଇଥିବା ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିକୁ ପୁନରୁଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ଏବଂ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ୱାସକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନିରନ୍ତର ପ୍ରୟାସ ସ୍ୱରୂପ, ଅନୁଗୋଳ ପୋଲିସ ଆଜି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପୋଲିସ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ମେଳା 5.0 ସମୟରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ₹21 ଲକ୍ଷ ମୂଲ୍ୟର 105ଟି ହଜିଯାଇଥିବା/ଚୋରି ହୋଇଥିବା ସ୍ମାର୍ଟଫୋନ୍ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରକୃତ ମାଲିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ହସ୍ତାନ୍ତର କରିଛି।
ଏହା ସହିତ, ଅନୁଗୋଳ ପୋଲିସ ପାଞ୍ଚଟି ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ମେଳା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ₹୧.୩୦ କୋଟି ମୂଲ୍ୟର ୬୮୦ ରୁ ଅଧିକ ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ଫୋନ୍ ସଫଳତାର ସହ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ଫେରାଇଛି। ପୋଲିସ ଷ୍ଟେସନ ଏବଂ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ସାଇବର ସେଲର ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗୀକୃତ ପ୍ରୟାସରେ CEIR-ସଞ୍ଚାର ସାଥୀ ପୋର୍ଟାଲ୍ ଏବଂ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପୋଲିସ ହ୍ୱାଟ୍ସଆପ୍ ହେଲ୍ପଲାଇନ୍ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ଏହି ରିକଭରୀ କରାଯାଇଛି।

#WATCH | Angul, Odisha | SP Rahul Jain says, "Yesterday evening around 6.0 PM, an armed robbery occurred at the Sri Balaji Gold Refinery under the Talcher police station, where miscreants looted approximately 300 grams of gold and some silver jewellery. They also took a man hostage in their. Upon receiving the news, Angul police alerted all police stations and initiated a blockade. CCTV investigations revealed that the car was heading towards Sambalpur. The police team pursued the vehicle, intercepting it near Handapa on NH 55 late at night. Two suspects fired at the police to escape, leading to controlled firing by the police, resulting in 2 suspects being injured in the legs. A total of 4 people were arrested, and the stolen materials were recovered. The vehicle used in the crime, with a fake number plate, was also seized. Preliminary investigations suggest the accused are from Maharashtra, and further investigation is ongoing to arrest all involved individuals. The injured suspects are currently under medical treatment, with plans to refer them to a hospital in Cuttack for further care."
