#HonourKilling A 19-year-old woman, Shivani Chauhan, was allegedly stabbed to death by her father, Satya Kumar Chauhan, inside the Badausa Police Station in Uttar Pradesh's Banda district.

Shivani had married Lalit Verma, a Dalit man, against her family's wishes. During a counselling session at the police station, she reportedly reaffirmed her decision to live with her husband despite familial opposition.

Shortly thereafter, her father allegedly attacked her with a knife inside the police station premises. Shivani was rushed to a hospital for treatment but later succumbed to her injuries.

#Horrific A 33-year-old Dalit man was allegedly beaten to death by three acquaintances in Lalitpur district after he refused to massage their feet during a late-night party.

The victim, Rajkumar alias Chhannu, a member of a Dalit community, attended a liquor party on the night of June 13, 2026, at the Civil Lines residence of one of the accused.

The three men, Rahi Jain (38), Gajendra Singh Rajput (37) and Gaurav Raikwar (25) asked him to massage their feet while under the influence of alcohol.

When Rajkumar refused, an argument escalated and the accused assaulted him with a belt and an iron rod, leading to his death on the spot,

Accused later dumped his body on a roadside near Varni Jain College and Gurunanak Dharamshala in an attempt to stage the incident as a road accident.

#Horrific A young Dalit man, Ketan Lal was beaten to death for daring to love across caste lines in Uttarakhand's Tehri Garhwal district.

Ketan belonged to the Dalit community, while his female friend came from an upper(ed)-caste Hindu family. Their relationship was reportedly opposed by the girl's relatives, who allegedly lured him to their home and brutally assaulted him, leading to his death.
