Not only was the statement morally and intellectually bankrupt, but it reeked of a sense of entitlement as an organization who believes it has a monopoly on athletic development, not recognizing that without athletes they stumble. They reflect a lot of our other institutions. 🗣

In some respects I’m ashamed but also happy that SLAA didn’t go through a PR Consultant to write a release, but instead, showed us who and what they truly believe about sports development. Our task is now to infiltrate orgs like this with genuine and caring leadership. 🇱🇨🏃🏾‍♂️
