Just to clarify for anyone who has seen or heard about my resignation. I did not resign because I am retiring. I resigned because I was asked to do so and I will not coach where I am not wanted and where people are actively working against me.
Young Coaches and ADs….you have to control your programs! You CANNOT allow a parent or player to do it! If they leave, they leave. It’s bigger than one or two! It’s about the entirety and you have to focus on that!
Coaching is becoming harder and harder because parents can criticize a coach from the stands or online, but if a coach points out a player’s limitations, it results in a letter/meeting to the administration. Confident coaches, have the best administrators.
Congratulations to @jwallingford11 on Region 24 All-Region & 1st Team All-MWAC honors!
Jake was the cornerstone of our squad this year. High character dude that shows up every day & chooses to be a great teammate. Big time dude that has a long career in front of him! THANK YOU!
New 🏀 opportunities for the Tri-state area. Tryouts are a month away. Contact either Coach Bottorff if you have interest or questions and be sure to register at https://t.co/mu0b2QBiKG
Parents please stop criticizing your child’s coach the whole game in the stands. If you are like that with them how do you think college coaches will think you will be with us? Allow your child to be coached
This Riley Leonard video might be the most WHOLESOME video you see this week.
Before the Senior Bowl game, Riley let a young fan pray over him.
“Jesus I pray for you to help Riley with this game, not let him get injured, and let him be victorious.”
Leonard finished the game 6/7 (88%) for 54 passing yards.
Throughout the week, Leonard was reportedly “one of the best” QB’s in attendance and increased his draft stock.
Prayers were answered and the NFL is getting themselves a STUD at QB 👏
Congratulations to @LaveryCalvin and @CharlieLavery5 on winning the D3 Football National Championship with their North Central College coaches and teammates.
