Quiet afternoon at the museums!
On 9th December we are hosting an autism-friendly quiet afternoon in the museum for those who have neurodiverse conditions or other sensory processing difficulties.

World War II was the topic for Year 6 children from St Joseph's School, Keighley, who visited us on Wednesday! Dressed in period clothing and carrying their ID cards, they participated in three workshops as well as visiting our museums and travelling on the train.
Join us to 'Play & Create' in the Learning Coach at Ingrow West every Easter holiday weekday between 10:30 & 14:30 - colouring, crafts & Lego!
Also, Chris will be demonstrating the phenokistoscope on both Mondays, and Brenda will be making paper roll bunnies on the first Tuesday.
Children from Fagley Primary school visited us to complement their learning about WW2!
They learnt all about rationing, strategies from allied forces, and also how the railway was involved in evacuation. They ended their day with a trip on the diesel Railbus.

We had a great time this half term with Captain Jake of @StoriesAlive and the tales of his adventures on high seas!
