I also fucking hate the "it's not part of your heritage" argument
1) you don't get to decide what is and isn't other people's heritage
2) Just because it didn't last long doesn't matter
3) we can't decide that "our heritage" is just a good parts of history. That's obviously bad
I want to start a group that defaces the pedestals of Confederate monuments, but very intentionally doesn't touch the statues. I don't want to erase the history of the Confederacy, I want to stop glorifying it
Interesting thought: under teslas car sharing model, presumably the time when most cars will be available will be at night, and with demand lowest at night, the pricing could fall to extremely low levels
I know robotaxis aren't the answer, but its going to be really nice when they're available. I'd be able to drive the hour and a half ish to the nearest train station without having to leave my car there
@Casey_Business@InfraredFemboy well nuclear basically is renewable, especially thorium reactors. But other than that, I guess wind? like offshore wind ig, but the blades on wind turbines are carbon fiber, so when they're used up after 15 years they're burried in the ground and never decompose
