Railroad Ranch Capital is short $ETSY. No salacious accusations or ties to Arthur Andersen, just a business model that we believe is standing on the tracks and the train is coming through. Please click the link below to read our report.

It's not often you see a business with high sell-side analyst growth forecasts trading for 5x EBITDA while launching a process to "assess the Company’s
capital allocation strategy and evaluate all strategic opportunities to maximize value." $TBRD $THBRF
Anyone interested in $TBRD should really check out the investor webcast at 2pm ET this afternoon. We think management is going to provide some new perspective on where the company's owned-IP / partner-managed strategy is heading over the next few years.

While the next 12-18 months of financial performance will reflect year-over-year headwinds as COVID testing volumes likely decline dramatically, we believe the underlying non-COVID business reflects an attractive investment opportunity that will become evident over the next year.
We have posted an entry to our blog about a diagnostics company we are currently long, Quidel Corporation $QDEL. While the company was certainly a COVID over-earner, we believe that during the pandemic the company meaningfully increased its earnings power.

@MMCapital8 The products on display are funded by their respective companies, not $ATEX. Some of these products need an efficient and secure way to communicate with the utility's network just as much as Anterix needs use cases for it's spectrum. Maybe some SG&A spend on the "ecosystem".
Since it's in our backyard, we stopped by @DISTRIBUTECH yesterday. As frustrating as the lack of progress on contract signings has been for $ATEX shareholders (including us), we were impressed by the expansion of use cases (with real partners) for their private LTE.
Since large utilities vary widely in their goals for technology development, we view this expansion of tangible, ready-to-go ecosystem products as increasing Anterix's ability to engage with new customers in the short-term and sign contracts in the medium- to long-term.
AMI, always a logical use but not a real priority, is shifting into focus. Some other very interesting, new technologies with products already in the field and growing rapidly (e.g. line monitoring), which are natural use cases for a private LTE network, were on display.
