I got a new toy - Yamaha Neo Bb cornet, and it’s a beauty.

📣 Fantastic opportunity to sing for Exeter Cathedral:

Our auditioned voluntary choir, St Peter’s Singers, are welcoming new members!

As well as their regular commitment comprising Tuesday evening rehearsals and monthly Saturday Evensongs, recent highlights have included:

🎵 Singing for the enthronement of the new Bishop of Exeter
🎵 Joint services with other choirs in the South West
🎵 Leading the annual celebration of Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve

Our cornet section has been growing in recent months. We’re delighted to welcome (L-R):
Shaine Lewis (front row); Jon Hawkins (2nd cornet); Andrew Gilham (rep)
We’re always happy to recruit new players. We’d be particularly interested to hear from bass, bass trombone & percussion

Soprano cornet may be the smallest instrument in the band, but the sound is mighty!
Our Sop player, Lowell, was “in the zone” at our gig last Saturday 👌🎺🎶
